Finally a family vacation with almost all of us!

So I guess its tradition to goto the summer house when RM’s get back. So we took off Friday morning and we drove straight there. The first pictures are of the cabin. I will add more pics of our trip as soon as i get them off my camera. I forgot i took any pictures. I love it down there. Its called torrey UT its 12 miles from the national park called Capitol Reef. So RED ROCKS and cliffs everywhere around this place.
It was perfect weather and we immediately jumped on the 4 wheelers and wrode off. That evening we high tailed it to a new trail that my uncle took us to last 4th of july. It was kinda far and we got lost, but eventually found it. We dinked around for a while and then wrode the devils backbone. Saweet name eh? Even sweeter trail. We dinked around a bit too long and had to ride back in the dark, but thankfully we had the lights working on all the 4 wheelers so we were fine. Saturday we went back to the same spot and played A LOT, then we went all the way down the backbone and down to the end of the trail. That got a bit tricky but its nothing we couldn’t handle. My brothers did really well on their atv’s and I had Brandon on mine so we weighed even more. We tried to go up this one path and it was ridiculously steep so we tried to go around the rock that was impeding our progress and that was probably worse than the other route. Remind you that these are not 4x4’s they are racing 4 wheelers. LOL. So we finally got back to devils backbone and aaron realized that he left his jacket at the end. So I ditched Brandon with aaron to ride around purple mountain til we got back and brian and I sped off like crazy flying through the trails now that I was solo I could go big J wow that was a lot of fun. We got down and back in about 35-40 minutes, of course we dinked around a few times. But we got back and I messed around, as the video denotes below, on the purple mountain, I would almost kiss with my tires, the devils backbone, but we are talking hills of probably 200 ft + high. It was so cool. When we got back to the house I was talking to my mom about how many trails there are up there and she said it would be neat to pack our bags and go on a few days adventure in those mtns. Most definitely I said, we would have to rent some 4x4s to carry the luggage but no problem J we are talking about mountain ranges open to ATV trails, so awesome! We have a pretty good size lot down there and my grandpa asked one of his neighbors to fill in all the rocks and put dirt over everything so we could have a trail to ride around. So we altered his design with the help of modern technology, THE SHOVEL, and built us a jump :) We hope to have more soon but we are waiting for the backhoe!
We went on Sunday while our clothes were drying, to a place called the goosenecks in the national park of Capitol Reef. They are so pretty. I want to go back in dec or jan and go hiking down them. My aunt and uncle took us down some pretty neat trails once that we had to get wet cause you had to slide down this rock slide into the pool, so we kept sliding over and over. It was a lot of fun. I hope to do that a lot next year. Then we took off and drove back home. What an awesome weekend. I took homework but only took my test that was due and I rested and played the rest of the weekend. I love that place!
This video is of me kissing the backbone from purple mountain.
