Military Commemorative Locking Knife

This knife is very simple but also very special. The set includes an aluminum case, which has on the inside the words "In Honor Of Those Who Have Served". The foam is custom cut to allow the knife to be displayed open, but also displayed closed. The blade is made of Stainless steel and also has the same saying. The knife itself is heavy duty, but it can easily be used for daily tasks as well as just a show piece.

Slim cover for Iphone 5 Series

Work gave me an Iphone to use for company use. Of course you need to protect it. This cover still gives you the sleek look of the Iphone that is so popular, but also gives you the protection. Included in the purchase is a screen protector that is bacteria resistant, YES, a cloth to clean the screen and the case itself. Easy snap together technology makes this an easy and great buy.

All Clips #Vorfreude

I got a new product to specifically help out my wire situation on my headboard in my bedroom. The pictures below show the before and after. I am such a wire neat freak that these things have really calmed me down. They easily direct my wires from my wife's wires for our phones. I have also been able to segregate the wires to her side and my side. With these clips I rarely grab wires in the middle of the night and disconnect my phone or get caught with wires in my face. Very easy to apply, peel the label and stick where you want. The material is soft so it spreads easy and you can put 2-3 wires in one holder if needed.

Follow this link to purchase them on Amazon.com you wont regret it!

Torrey 4/2009

We went down to our summerhouse with my grandma and my aunt and uncle and we were the only ones on the 4 wheelers and we had a blast. We also drove through capitol reef down to escalante and boulder :) it was alot of fun. We tried to do some 4 wheeling in my truck but the snow stopped us from getting over the pass. It was still fun though.

Skiing trip. My first of the year!!

So we decided that it was finally time to go up the mountain. It was a parking lot and we had to park on the road instead and then we skiied down to the lifts. It was a joke but the skiing was amazing. I was so exhausted but it was fun. We videod me skiing a really nice run, i was in some fresh medium weight powder and cruised right through, and then the boys hit a jump we found, and we got ski cam :) It was COLD. At the base it was 12 degrees and at the top it was -1 so the boys had a hard time with the cold on their toes and we took a long lunch to get feeling back and we stopped skiing about 25 min early to allow me time to hike to the car and for them to warm their feet up. Still it was a great day of skiing.

Thanksgiving

Holy crap i am sorry so this is to catch me up on this thing. The last thing i have pics for was thanksgiving at the cabin at powder mountain up ogden canyon. This is our room. And then following we decided to go to the museum just my mom dad and i while the boys went to the skate park for a few hours.

Finally a family vacation with almost all of us!

So I guess its tradition to goto the summer house when RM’s get back. So we took off Friday morning and we drove straight there. The first pictures are of the cabin. I will add more pics of our trip as soon as i get them off my camera. I forgot i took any pictures. I love it down there. Its called torrey UT its 12 miles from the national park called Capitol Reef. So RED ROCKS and cliffs everywhere around this place.
It was perfect weather and we immediately jumped on the 4 wheelers and wrode off. That evening we high tailed it to a new trail that my uncle took us to last 4th of july. It was kinda far and we got lost, but eventually found it. We dinked around for a while and then wrode the devils backbone. Saweet name eh? Even sweeter trail. We dinked around a bit too long and had to ride back in the dark, but thankfully we had the lights working on all the 4 wheelers so we were fine. Saturday we went back to the same spot and played A LOT, then we went all the way down the backbone and down to the end of the trail. That got a bit tricky but its nothing we couldn’t handle. My brothers did really well on their atv’s and I had Brandon on mine so we weighed even more. We tried to go up this one path and it was ridiculously steep so we tried to go around the rock that was impeding our progress and that was probably worse than the other route. Remind you that these are not 4x4’s they are racing 4 wheelers. LOL. So we finally got back to devils backbone and aaron realized that he left his jacket at the end. So I ditched Brandon with aaron to ride around purple mountain til we got back and brian and I sped off like crazy flying through the trails now that I was solo I could go big J wow that was a lot of fun. We got down and back in about 35-40 minutes, of course we dinked around a few times. But we got back and I messed around, as the video denotes below, on the purple mountain, I would almost kiss with my tires, the devils backbone, but we are talking hills of probably 200 ft + high. It was so cool. When we got back to the house I was talking to my mom about how many trails there are up there and she said it would be neat to pack our bags and go on a few days adventure in those mtns. Most definitely I said, we would have to rent some 4x4s to carry the luggage but no problem J we are talking about mountain ranges open to ATV trails, so awesome! We have a pretty good size lot down there and my grandpa asked one of his neighbors to fill in all the rocks and put dirt over everything so we could have a trail to ride around. So we altered his design with the help of modern technology, THE SHOVEL, and built us a jump :) We hope to have more soon but we are waiting for the backhoe!
We went on Sunday while our clothes were drying, to a place called the goosenecks in the national park of Capitol Reef. They are so pretty. I want to go back in dec or jan and go hiking down them. My aunt and uncle took us down some pretty neat trails once that we had to get wet cause you had to slide down this rock slide into the pool, so we kept sliding over and over. It was a lot of fun. I hope to do that a lot next year. Then we took off and drove back home. What an awesome weekend. I took homework but only took my test that was due and I rested and played the rest of the weekend. I love that place!
This video is of me kissing the backbone from purple mountain.

Welcome Home Elder Augason

So this week brian came home from his mission. It was really weird being on this end of the spectrum. I thought it kinda cool, til we got into presidents office and he said almost the exact same thing and then he told him to take off his tag…I was balling my eyes out! I did not like that moment one bit when I was a missionary, it was so hard to not cry out loud cause no one else was. I guess it didn’t hit anyone else but me as hard the 2nd time around. I miss it so much! So i decided to put a picture of my first tag :)

My becoming a man!

Ok so the same Friday as my date, I became a man! Yeah that’s right, you all guessed it, I GOT MY OWN CELL PHONE! Angie and the rest of the family convinced me silently that I needed to get the same phone. I am so glad that I did. We went in there and the guy had no problem selling me on anything cause I had already decided, LOL! Angie got the hook up, getting told about some awesome programs that you can add to your blackberry and they are so sweet. So we got the hook ups and then went back to angies and hung out and played with the phones a little longer and then I took off to go on my date. I had to promise that I would not play with my phone on the date, and I have to say why would I?

Marks last race

Went out to marks race and watched his last one of the season. It was good and sunny and pretty warm. I had been freakin out for the last week, kinda, because my program for slideshows kept failing and I couldn’t get it to work. So I had to learn a new program and it wouldn’t work properly so I couldn’t put any music to it so I just had to iprovise. After marks race we had a surprise party and we played the video, which mark watched over and over, and we watched and listened to music. We also had the great Elke lasagna. Oh man was that good! Then Kristin and Aaron put into plans by showing everyone else this secret date I was going to go on this next weekend.

Some random videos of cali

Return to California

The man of the hour. My best friend in the mission Elder Peralta. We served around each other fro 3 months in Santa Maria, 6 weeks in oxnard and 3 more months in So Bakes. I love him to death.
Elder Barney. He served in taft and i would visit them about once a week to speak to all the people that they couldnt.
This was after st. george and before cedar city i think.

The drop!
We stopped along the way and wrode the rollercoaster and ate at the buffet. it was freaking fast and awesome. 230+ ft freefall and 90 mph :)
Random pic but oh so good. I dont remember taking it but dang that is so cool lookin.
Us at toppers pizza! BBQ pizza

This is elder Tatua. he is going home in a few weeks to tonga. He taught our zone the hawka and we did it for the christmas conferance infront of everyone :)
We switched about every 300 miles or so.

This was the last spot on ventura soil that i stood as Elder Augason. I got a bit teary eyed standing there again. It was a good sight to see.
On the way back home.

Well we took off and once we hit barstow we did what tradition has it. Broke down. lost the master cylinder in my transmission. Lamans terms that means no clutch so i had to shift with out it. Which it worked but on labor day weekend at 5:30 pm who is going to fix my truck. Well if you pay them enough they will get the job done. 700 bucks and 3.78 hours later we were on the road. Saw Hermana Madrigal from my last area and then took off on saturday for the coast. We shoppedin San Luis Obispo for about 1 hr then took off for the beach. We changed in the truck to the swimsuits and ran down to the beach. Tried to surf but got beat up pretty bad, but it was sooooo much fun. BTW we went to pismo beach. Then at 6pm we met up with members and we showered the salt water off and then went out to eat at a chinese restauraunt. Then we tried to watch movies but we were so beat from driving and swimming that we could not stay awake. It was very weird sleeping and showering in daves house. Sunday we made the suprise visit to the branch and had a good time. Then we went back to the beach. Nothing new cept that we went further out and swam with a sea lion and this time dave let us borrow his boogey board which was a blast. So we both got thrown around like rag dolls. The waves were crashin over the top of my head and it was really tough to get out to the waves, LOL. Monday we m et up with Elder Peralta and his companion in ventura and took them out to eat at toppers pizza. it was good. I talked with an old companion for like 5 min on the phone and the pizza was gone. WOW. It was so nice to see my mexican :) We laughed and cried and said goodbye again. But its ok cause i am going to mexico next year for like 9 days LOL We ate at In n Out twice once in cali and once in st. george 10 pm monday nite and then we rolled into the driveway at 3am tuesday morning. WOW it was a rough day but we made it safe. Enjoy
