Our weekend

We went to the west dessert this last weekend. We wrode 4 the motorcycles and shot bb guns, climbed to the top of the White Rock AKA cavern vern. It was windy but alot of fun. Brent aka Vern and i went down a different way and got down alot faster than the rest of the team. So we got down and we loaded up the potato gun and we shot that thing to the moon. It was rediculously awesome. I had never seen a potato gun and blake got the plans together and made it with spare parts he found at work. It was really alot of fun. I thought i got sun burned but i just went about 3 shades darker and i didnt peel so i was really excited. So brent took his bullet bike but left it 7 miles on the main road and got a ride from his friends in. So that friday night he wanted to go get the bike. So on one motorcycle and at dusk we took off. I could hardly see where we were going by time we got to the bike and it got cold. We played around with his bike for a minute or two trying to see how fast we could get it to go. Now that its on 4 cylinders i got up to just 50 mph and because it was pitch black i gave up. brent got it up to the 100's or more and then called it quits. Estimated 1/4 mile in 15 seconds. Not bad eh? His bike is sweet. So we raced each other back by the headlight of his bike the whole 7 miles on dirt road. We sang and made alot of jokes the entire way. I had a blast. He invited some wardie friends from BYU and they added to the excitement. We had smores and tin foil dinners. And the brinkerhoffs took their dog dash and he added to the excitement. He tore up the mountain when we were hikin and had a blast. But come sat afternoon he was pooped and hot. Any moment he had to get to the shade he did and really got excited to be in front of the a/c in the truck. WOW what a weekend. Angie made this really cool video. It obviously doesent highlight me but I didnt make it so what do you expect?

To plum or not to plum

SO blake and i have been planning for a while to join the pipefitters union. Well we finally last week went to north salt lake and talked to the program advisors. WOW what a process. I thought alot about how i felt when he was explaining the dedication and all thats involved. The worst part was when he explained that we wont know when we can actually get into the program. I would be at the bottom of the posibility list because i have no experience in that field. So i have thought and prayed about it and i am going to goto school and work on my business degree. I feel alot calmer and comfortable with this business program. I know its the path that i should be on right now. It wont take as long and i can do things that i know i know how to do. PLUS at my job right now i am learning alot of the managerial and financial aspects of businesses so things seem to be fitting together in this, my puzzle of life. So i will hopefully be at the University of Utah the spring of 2010 to get my bach and then my masters. I am so excited and cant wait to figure out what program i will specify in.

My plane

So i had battling whether or not to get a plane. I had wanted to get one before my mission but the cost was too great. So i started to look around and to investigate them. So finally on my lunch break one day i took off for the hobby shop and looked around. I finally decided on this Slo-V parkzone flyer. It had all the needed parts to fly included and so it seemed the best. It is easier to break but cheaper to repair. So i can repair alot of it with tape and toothpicks. So we had some problems but who didnt on their first flights. More videos to come.
